02 Aug Fila Extends Sponsorship Of Western & Southern
Fila has extended the company’s sponsorship agreement with the Western & Southern Open, an ATP World Tour and WTA combined tennis event to be held August 11-19, 2018 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, just north of Cincinnati.
With the multi-year partnership extension, Fila will continue as the Official Apparel and Footwear Sponsor of the tournament, providing custom uniforms to event staff, volunteers, ball kids and officials. These collections will also be available on-site at tournament retailer Midwest Sports.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Fila,” said Tournament Director Andre Silva. “Fila, much like our event, always looks to innovate and stay ahead of trends in tennis, making them a perfect partner for the Western & Southern Open.”
Fila collaborated with the tournament and Midwest Sports to develop a special line of licensed Western & Southern Open performance apparel and accessories only available at the event in August. Tournament attendees can expect exclusive co-branded pieces including women’s short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, tank tops and jackets, and men’s crew shirts, quarter-zip and full-zip jackets. Fila and Midwest Sports developed a 20×40 foot concept shop within the Midwest Sports retail shopping experience. The designated branded space will function as ‘a shop within a shop,’ displaying and selling only Fila product.
