ISA TanTec’s Heshan Bestway Leather Product Ltd. subsidiary was granted the “Green Card”by Jiangmen Environmental Protection Bureau in recognition of its “Environmental Integrity Enterprise.”
Heshan Bestway Leather Product was one of the top seven performers (3.3 percent) among 213 standard-sized enterprises in Jiangmen.
The evaluation mainly accesses aspects including pollution control, ecological conservation, environmental management and public supervision. Among 213 enterprises, there are seven being graded as “Green Card” (the top tier) and 159 graded as “Blue card” (the second tier) while 42 have received warnings from the authority and five have closed down during the evaluation process. ISA TanTec, an eco-friendly leading leather manufacturer represented by the LITE (Low Impact To the Environment) Trademark, said it is committed to a high standard and ongoing improvement of environmental sustainability in the manufacturing process.
