20 Apr Keen Names Kate Sweeney As COO
Keen Inc., the family-owned outdoor and lifestyle footwear brand, has named Kate Sweeney as COO. Sweeney joins the executive leadership at Keen to drive results as the brand continues to build and invest in its future growth. Sweeney officially joined Keen at its global headquarters in Portland, OR, on April 16.
“With Kate joining the team, Keen gains a savvy executive operator with a proven background in driving operational and financial excellence for dynamic and growing brands,” said Tyler LaMotte, Keen’s CMO. “Kate’s leadership and expertise will be a tremendous value add across the Keen organization as the business and operations continue to scale globally.”
Sweeney most recently served as the chief financial officer at Agero Inc. As the top finance executive at the leading provider of vehicle and driver safety services, she managed a 100-person team for the white-label provider of roadside assistance, consumer affairs and mobile telematics solutions for the top insurance and OEM brands. Prior to joining Agero, Sweeney served as senior vice president, finance at Sperry Top-Sider and senior vice president of finance and administration at Stride Rite Children’s Group.
