30 Sep Foot Locker Supports Fred Jordan Mission
In a partnership with Foot Locker and Fred Jordan Mission in Los Angeles, more than 4,000 impoverished boys and girls will be given free athletic shoes, new clothing, backpacks filled with school supplies, In-N-Out burgers and haircuts to help them return to school.
Terrence J, co-anchor of the international news program E! News, and former Foot Locker employee, will kick off the event by escorting the first group of children into the Missions’ Chapel, which will be transformed into a giant Foot Locker store.
Throughout the day, children will star in their own “Red Carpet Runway Fashion Show,” modeling their new athletic shoes, clothing and backpacks.
More than 130,000 children have received new Foot Locker shoes, complete school outfits, school supplies and food at the Mission’s Back-to-School event in the past 26 years, thanks to the generous partnership of individuals and corporations like Foot Locker, In-N-Out, and others.
