24 Nov Champion Plans Premium Footwear Collection
Champion, in partnership with BBC International, is launching a premium footwear program, according to Footwear News.
Men’s and women’s collections will debut for fall of next year, followed by a kids’ line in spring 2019.
“The brand has never been stronger, so we feel the timing is right to establish a footwear division that aligns with what we’re doing with our specialty apparel,” Don Burton, Hanes’ director of licensing, told Footwear News. Retail prices will exceed $100.
Target sells the C9 Champion line while Payless sells a Champion line.
