Michael Johnson Performance (MJP), the provider in athletic performance training, has partnered with Technogym, the designer and producer of technology-driven smart connected sports performance equipment and the official equipment provider of seven editions of the Olympic Games.
MJP will supply equipment and solutions to enhance the offerings of what is widely considered to be one of the leading athletic performance training facilities in the world.
“Technogym has been our performance brand of choice for years, and to collaborate on this level allows us to offer more dynamic, interactive programs for our clients,” said Lance Walker, executive vice president of the MJP. “We have always recognized the next-level capabilities of Technogym and are excited to utilize these features to help improve the performance of athletes from around the world.”
MJP was founded by Olympic gold medalist and Dallas native Michael Johnson to provide innovative training to athletes of all levels – from young to pro — based on years of research and scientific data. The company is known for providing training and sports medicine services to professional athletes and Olympians from around the world. MJP provides in-season and off-season training programs, biomechanical analysis, and injury prevention programs for athletes to maintain superior levels of athletic performance. Technogym’s state-of-the-art, connected smart equipment allows staff to more fully integrate wellness programs both on-and off-site.
“We are proud to be selected as the preferred equipment provider for Michael Johnson Performance, known worldwide for its remarkable athletic performance training and dedication to the highest levels of sport performance,” said Nerio Alessandri, president and founder of Technogym.
MJP’s headquarters facility in Dallas, Texas will also be used as a professional reference site for Technogym, hosting visits with athletes and trainers. Future collaborations include co-branded training programs, education content, and more.
