Few shoes get sneakerheads excited like retro Air Jordans. Jordan Brand is set to release a shoe that according to the brand hasn’t been available since 1999.
The Air Jordan 14 Retro Low Varsity Royal hits stores on Saturday, the first Jordan retro release of October, with a retail price of $170.
he colorway is a nod to Jordan’s teenage years playing for Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, N.C. The upper — made of premium nubuck — is predominantly varsity royal and black, with its standout white teeth on the forefoot and varsity maize highlights. The upper also features black-and-white Jordan branding on the heel. The shoe also features a black-and-white midsole with a black outsole, plus hints of varsity maize near the heel.
