09 Dec Superfeet Names New U.S., International Sales Leaders
Superfeet, one of the leading insole makers for the active lifestyle and outdoor markets, filled two new positions to help lead its sales efforts in the United States and abroad.
Brad Parry has been named vice president of international sales. “Superfeet’s international business has experienced continual growth over the past few years and requires a dedicated leader,” officials said. “The potential to expand our presence in Europe, Canada and Asia is tremendous,” Parry added, who has been with Superfeet for eight years. “I am excited to take it to the next level.”
Mike Houser, regional sales manager for the Eastern U.S. region, has been promoted to the director of national sales for the United States. “I strongly believe our corporate purpose of improving the lives of all the people we touch is real,” Houser said. “The sales department has a responsibility to deliver on that purpose by driving growth which will allow us to improve more lives – those of our consumers, retail customers, our co-workers, and ourselves. I’m honored to help lead that charge.”
“We know that 75 percent of the population experience some sort of foot related issue yet only 10 percent use any sort of device,” said John Rauvola, president of Superfeet. “This leaves an amazing opportunity domestically and overseas. These two [personnel] changes help prepare us for that expansion.”
Originally the sports medicine division of Northwest Podiatric Laboratory, Superfeet was established in 1977 to make the first professional-grade over-the-counter insoles. The company became 100-percent employee-owned in 2014.
