30 Aug Finish Line Youth Foundation Grants More Than $144,000 in Q216
The Finish Line Youth Foundation awarded $144,093 in grants for the second quarter of 2016. The 17 grants will help organizations in 12 states that focus on healthy lifestyles, youth development and special needs.
“From hitting the bulls eye during archery to feeling the summer heat during a tennis lesson to learning about anti-bullying practices, it’s important kids everywhere have these opportunities,” said Marty Posch, Finish Line Youth Foundation president. “We value partnerships that provide these experiences for kids.”
Finish Line stores nationwide are hosting a back-to-school drive through September 5 dedicated to giving kids in our communities an active and healthy future.
The Finish Line Youth Foundation supports qualified non-profit organizations that provide community-based access to athletics for children and camps that provide services to those who are disadvantaged or disabled.
The deadline to submit grant applications online for this quarter is September 30, 2016.
