13 Jul VF’s Earns National Recognition in Diversity MBA Ranking
VF Corporation has been named one of the 50 “Best Places for Women & Diverse Managers to Work” in 2018 by Diversity MBA, a national leadership organization.
Diversity MBA ranked VF Corporation 19th on the list, also known as the “50 Out Front” list. The rankings recognize companies and organizations that have strategies, recruiting and retention practices in place to advance women and those with diverse backgrounds into leadership roles.
“We are honored to be recognized by Diversity MBA for our commitment to inclusion and diversity within VF and our brands,” said Reginald Miller, VF’s senior director of global inclusion and diversity.“We take great pride in our diverse workforce and the different perspectives each of our associates brings to VF. These differences make VF a stronger company and ultimately, drive our business success.”
More than 650 companies registered to complete a survey for initial qualification, but only 359 had the ratings to move forward in the process. The survey rated companies on representation, board diversity, recruitment, workplace inclusion, retention, plans for succession and accountability.
Recently, VF has taken a number of actions both inside and outside the company to demonstrate its commitment to diversity and inclusion. VF, in partnership with the Paradigm for Parity coalition, has committed to achieving gender parity throughout its corporate leadership structure by 2030. VF also earned a 100 percent endorsement from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) on the Corporate Equality Index, earning the distinction as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
