22 Mar Andy Warhol’s Shoe Prints Set To Fetch $215K At Auction
This may come as news to many of you, but Andy Warhol once liked to sketch shoes. And now is your chance to own a piece of fashion and pop-art history, but it will cost you a pretty penny.
On Tuesday, Sotheby’s auction house is putting a complete portfolio of Warhol shoe prints under the hammer. Titled A La Recherche Du Shoe Perdu, the collection consists of 16 offset lithographs, 15 of which have been hand-colored. A double cover is included, also hand-colored.
