22 Dec Asics Donates $1.5 million Worth of Shoes
Asics announced Tuesday the total donation of over $1.5 million worth of shoes as a result of the Asics Extra Mile.
The campaign, which took place from Oct. 17-Nov. 30, encouraged people to run a mile more than the RunKeeper app workout of three miles.
For every person that used Runkeeper and went four miles or over, those who participated in the Extra Mile activation in New York’s Columbus Circle, and shoppers who bought $100 worth of Asics items at participating retail stores, Asics donated a pair of shoes to girls youth program, Girls on the Run.
