06 Jan Barneys Ends Online Sales
Barneys has ended online sales as it shifts clearance sales to solely focus on its remaining stores.
Barneys, which filed for bankruptcy in August, was acquired by Authentic Brands Group LLC and is closing most of its stores. B. Riley Financial Inc. told Business Of Fashion that clearance sales at Barneys’ seven remaining locations will continue through January and possibly into early February.
So far, Authentic Brands has announced plans to Barneys in-store shops inside about 40 Saks Fifth Avenue locations. Users who type in the previous Barneys domain names are now sent Saks or Saks Off Fifth.
