12 Nov BRIEF: Nike Golf leader moves over from Jordan Brand
Daric Ashford will be the new president of Nike Golf, the Oregon sports goods company announced.
Ashford is currently vice president and general manager of Jordan Brand for North America and is a 21-year Nike veteran.
He replaces Cindy Davis, who retired October.
He has held senior management positions across retail and sales within the Nike brand.
“While working in Jordan Brand,” a Nike news release says, Ashford “has elevated the marketplace and brand through innovative merchandising, sales and marketplace strategies that deeply connect with consumers.”
“Daric’s leadership has helped to deliver strong revenue growth and expand the Jordan Brand,” said Jayme Martin, vice president and general manager of global categories. “His proven track record, along with his experience in global categories, makes him ideally suited to leading the Golf business.”
