08 May Chaco’s ‘Fit for Adventure’ Brand Experience Tour Hits the Road Again
The Chaco Fit for Adventure Tour kicks off its second run at the Dominion Riverrock festival in Richmond, VA, May 15-17. During this year’s tour, each stop will showcase a custom Chaco truck and trailer transformed into an immersive brand experience with product trials, a custom app, giveaways and more.
“The Fit for Adventure Tour is an opportunity to not only celebrate and deepen our relationship with the Chaco nation — our most passionate fans — but also connect with thousands of potential new customers,” says Alyssa Omlie, Chaco marketing specialist and tour manager. “This summer we’re excited to unveil a cutting-edge digital app, which is a fun and engaging way for consumers to interact with the Chaco brand.”
Chaco’s new mobile app presents a unique, augmented-reality footwear experience, empowering consumers to see 60 different Chaco styles on their feet, in real time.
Chaco’s tour activation will also include a selfie station, a Plinko-style contest to win Chaco gear, product giveaways, professional fittings for the new Chaco OutCross Evo 1 and the chance to win a $5,000 trip, outfitted by G Adventures Tours.
“In planning this summer’s tour route, we sought out the country’s up-and-coming festivals — events where adventurous spirits are living the Chaco lifestyle,” adds Omlie. “We’ve chosen a route that brings us to places, on both coasts, where the 2014 Tour didn’t go.”
