04 Jun Deckers Licenses Teva’s Kid’s Wholesale Business in US
Teva has agreed to license the brand’s children’s wholesale business in the United States to BBC International. Commencing this month, the phased transition will impact the brand’s spring 2015 product offering.
“We look forward to using our leading position in the children’s footwear marketplace to benefit the Teva brand,” said Robert Campbell, founder and chairman of BBC International. “The brand’s free-spirited and active lifestyle approach is perfect for children who by nature are curious and always on the go.”
Founded in 1975 by Chairman Robert Campbell, BBC International has become the leading children’s and athletic footwear designer and marketer globally. BBC leads the kid’s footwear marketplace with creative design and advanced technology. They have secured many long-term, internationally recognized children’s licenses such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Guess, Born, Buster Brown, Sam Edelman and entertainment brands such as Marvel, Sesame, Warner Bros. and Disney. Their ability to service all levels of quality fashion and distribution from department stores to mass market is the key to their success in the children’s arena.
Teva is owned by Deckers Outdoor Corporation, which also owns the UGG Australia, Sanuk, Tsubo, Ahnu, Mozo, and Hoka One One brands and sells footwear in more than 50 countries and territories through select department and specialty stores, 120 company-owned and operated retail stores, and select online stores.
