08 Sep Facebook Post of Finish Line Employee Goes Viral
Back to school season has arrived and as usual, sneakers are at the top of many young student’s shopping lists. It’s hard to beat the feeling of strutting into class on the first day laced in a fresh pair, but unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to buy new shoes for the start of school. Thankfully, there are still good people like Finish Line employee Osmani Torres out there.
According to a recent Facebook post from Torres, he was in the middle of a normal shift at Natick Mall’s Finish Line in Boston, Mass., when a kid entered the store and asked to be directed to the cheapest shoes in stock.
“I looked down at his feet and saw the shoes that he was wearing were destroyed,” Torres wrote. “Literally they were breaking apart.”
