14 Jan Fila to Sponsor John Isner
Fila has signed an endorsement agreement with the #1 ranked American male tennis player, John Isner. The multiyear partnership with Isner continues Fila’s legacy of sponsoring elite tennis champions.

Isner, 30, is the #11 ranked player on the ATP World Tour and is currently the highest-ranked American male tennis player for the fourth straight season. He turned pro in 2007 and has amassed 10 ATP singles titles and three doubles titles. John achieved a career-high ranking of #9 in 2012. Isner is known for having one of the fastest and most powerful serves in the game. He currently ranks 10th for the most aces in the history of the ATP. Isner also played the longest match in tennis history, at Wimbledon in 2010.

In a separate release, Fila said it signed an endorsement agreement with top-ranked WTA Tour player, Karolina Pliskova. With the multiyear partnership, the Czech Republic tennis star joins a legendary lineup of ATP World Tour and WTA athletes who have worn Fila on-court.
“We are thrilled to welcome Karolina Pliskova to the Fila family,” said Gene Yoon, global chairman of Fila. “Karolina’s combination of athleticism, drive and grace, align with our core values and make her a wonderful addition to our tennis roster. She has already achieved great success in her young career and we look forward to watching her continue to climb the ranks.”
Pliskova, 23, is currently the #11 ranked player on the WTA Tour. She turned pro in 2009 and has since been a top competitor. In August 2015, she achieved a career-high ranking of #7. She has won four singles titles and four doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She also played for the Czech Fed Cup team that won its ninth title in November 2015.

Fila is a sponsor of the BNP Paribas Open and the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. In addition to event partnerships, Fila is an official supplier to Junior Tennis Champions Center, Van der Meer Tennis, John Newcombe Tennis Ranch, and the Kim Clijsters Academy in Belgium.
