12 Dec Footaction Unveils Winter Docuseries On ‘Cuffing Style’
Footaction, a national retailer of apparel and footwear lifestyle brands, unveiled the latest installment of its digital docuseries titled, “Footaction Free Flow: Cuffing Confessions,” which speaks to the social trend of winter “cuffing”— when individuals enter a relationship during the cold-weather months.
The Footaction series guides men on how to revamp their winter “cuffing season” style, with help from celebrity couple and style icons Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor. The video debuted on the brand’s YouTube channel.
“We’re excited to share these amusing cuffing season stories from everyday guys to show that winter relationships aren’t always so easy,” said Ken Side, vice president, general manager, Footaction. “To bring ‘Cuffing Confessions’ to life, Footaction developed a custom, interactive confessional booth decked out with the latest head-to-toe styles to upgrade our consumers’ winter styles.”
“Footaction really knew how to throw these guys for a loop and surprise them in a funny and unique way,” said Def Jam/Good Music artist, Teyana Taylor— who is also gearing up to launch her own fitness programming brand Fade2Fit. “My husband Iman and I had such a blast talking with the guys, sharing our own testimonials and mishaps, and giving them style makeovers to make sure they were dressed fresh for the season – whether they’re at their job or having a night out with friends.”
Additional celebrity cameos include New York artists Fat Joe and Remy Ma, who share their own cuffing season stories in the Footaction confessional booth.
