Footwear Companies Are Stepping Up With Big Investments in Nevada

In the past year, several new distribution center projects have been announced in Nevada by companies within the footwear industry.  Significant announcements include projects by Crocs(730,000 sf), Footlocker (450,000 sf), Tapestry (788,000 sf), Rocky Brands (350,000 sf) and Bearpaw (450,000+ sf).  According to the state’s economic development agency, “Nevada’s location within the western U.S. provides an unparalleled market reach that gives manufacturing and distribution companies a competitive advantage”.   Other footwear centric companies with a presence in Nevada include: Quality Corrections & Inspections (footwear product rework provider), Pediped, Zappos (Headquarters), and Ride Concepts.
