19 Feb K-Swiss Appoints New Palladium President
K-Swiss Global Brands (KSGB), a division of E-Land Group and owners of K-Swiss, Palladium, PLDM, OTZ Shoes, SUPRA Footwear (SUPRA) and KR3W Denim Co. (KR3W), appointed Christophe Mortemousque as brand president of Palladium.
Prior to this appointment, Mortemousque was president of Palladium France. Mortemousque joined Palladium in 1997, and became the owner of the brand in 2006, running the brand for three years, before K-Swiss’ acquisition in 2009. In this new role Mortemousque will remain in Lyon, France and be responsible for global sales, product and marketing for the Palladium brand and will continue to manage the global operations of PLDM, a French-based offshoot of Palladium.
Mortemousque will report to KSGB Chairman and CEO Truman Kim, alongside the other KSGB Brand Presidents, Robert “Cape” Capener for the Supra and KR3W brands, and Barney Waters for the K-Swiss brand, both of whom are based at KSGB’s global headquarters in Westlake Village, California.
“The Palladium brand was founded in France in 1947, and EMEA has been our strongest market since the brand relaunch in 2009. I am confident that Christophe can maintain and build Palladium’s ability to blend city function with European style, and to grow the business globally” said Truman Kim, Chairman and CEO of KSGB.
KSGB is a division of E-Land Group, a $10 billion group of companies with over 200 brands, 10,000 retail stores and business across apparel, footwear, retail, hotels, leisure and entertainment.
