30 Jul Mephisto USA Names Michael Crosno President and CEO
French comfort brand Mephisto Inc., has new leadership in the U.S. The company has appointed Michael Crosno to the position of president and CEO of Mephisto USA, Franklin, Tenn., effective August 1. He replaces Rusty Hall.
Crosno re-joins the company after his departure five years ago when he held the same position. Most recently, Crosno was director of sales with Munro & Co., Hot Springs, Ark. Other footwear experience includes SVP and brand manager for Phoenix Footwear’s Trotter and Softwalk divisions and 20 years of sales experience with Nine West.
“I am very excited to be back with Mephisto and to lead the team of such a respected brand,” said Crosno, in a company statement. “Mephisto has been an innovator in footwear since 1965 and has built a solid reputation for comfort, quality and service to their customers. It is this focus on quality and service, along with the company’s vision on growth with its retail partners, that gives us momentum to continue to expand the brand within the U.S.”
Mephisto is headquartered in Sarrebourg, France. In addition to its core line under the Mephisto label, it offers Mobils by Mephisto, an ergonomic collection; Allrounder, athletic-inspired looks and Sano by Mephisto, a fitness collection. The company also operates two stores in the U.S. in Atlanta and New York.
