Micro-Pak Opens New Technical Offices in Vietnam, Bangladesh

Micro-Pak, which offers the industry’s most comprehensive solution for mold prevention, today announced that its new technical office in Vietnam is now up and running, with an additional office scheduled to open in Bangladesh in August. These offices will allow Micro-Pak to continue to expand the factory services it offers in key manufacturing regions around the world.

Micro-Pak offers both individual factory analyses and regularly scheduled factory audits as part of its comprehensive service package. During these analyses and audits, highly trained technicians evaluate all areas of the facility, from the incoming material warehouse through each stage of production to final export procedures. Micro-Pak uses advanced specialized tools including moisture meters, humidity gauges, mold analysis kits as well as other equipment to give factories a score and identify areas of improvement. Micro-Pak also has the ability to test a factory’s UV tunnels to ensure they are working properly and effectively to eliminate mold.

Last year, Micro-Pak performed 2,375 factory audits and executed nearly 12,000 individual mold tests at factories or on product samples. For both its footwear and garment factory audits, Micro-Pak nearly doubled the number of inspection points, adding a new level of detail to further help manufacturing facilities make necessary improvements.
“Our customers have come to rely on us to prevent mold throughout the supply chain,” said Sal Cesario, global sales and marketing manager for Micro-Pak. “These services are part of our commitment to helping prevent mold from factory to retail.”
