25 Jun NBA Star Dwight Howard May Sign Deal With Chinese Brand
National Basketball Association (NBA) star Dwight Howard is set to sign a personal endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear manufacturer Peak.
According to a report on Chinese sports marketing website Yutang Sports, Howard will sign a deal with Peak to begin from the beginning of the next NBA season.
Yutang Sports indicate that the rumours have been confirmed by staff at Peak’s Chinese headquarters.
29-year-old Howard, an eight-time NBA All-Star and the Houston Rockets’ current starting centre, had a long-term deal with Adidas which expired at the end of the 2014/15 season.
If the new deal is confirmed, Howard would join the likes of Tony Parker on the Chinese brand’s sponsorship roster.
