Nike gained 2.9 million new Instagram followers in February and also outpaced fashion industry competitors by large numbers. The “Just Do It” brand’s social influence on the platform grew close to 27 percent ahead of Chanel, which earned nearly 777,000 new fans.
Among the other top 50 brands that attracted new followers, Louis Vuitton ranked third with close to 523,000 new fans, followed by Gucci’s 439,072 and Dior’s 432,943.
