28 Sep Puma Debuts Soccer Cleats in Dual Colors
One pair, two colors. That’s the pitch behind athletic label Puma’s latest release ofsoccer cleats, available today.
The company applied the color twist to two of its core soccer lines, EvoPower and EvoSpeed, painting pairs in striking orange and blue.
Additionally, it has tapped top players to wear one orange and one blue cleat during competitive club matches. The players — which include Cesc Fàbregas, Mario Balotelli, Olivier Giroud, Sergio Aguero, Marco Reus and Antoine Griezmann — will be split into two teams. Then the two teams, EvoPower vs. EvoSpeed, will see who can tally more goals and assists. As part of an aggressive social media push, the brand will ask fans to pick a side, as well as share images of their own cleats and experiences playing in Puma.
