26 Feb Running Specialty Group Acquires Indiana Running Company
The Running Specialty Group (RSG) announced an increased footprint in the Midwest with the addition of Bloomington-based Indiana Running Company. This addition brings the company’s store count to 71 retail locations nationwide, including five in Indiana – the Hoosier state.
“Located in the heart of Bloomington, Indiana Running Company is a community-minded establishment with a laser focus on service and making each customer interaction meaningful,” said Bill Kirkendall, president of Running Specialty Group. “Indiana Running Company’s business model is truly specialty which aligns very well with RSG’s operating standards.”
Indiana Running Company opened its doors in 2007 and serves the athletic community of South Central Indiana with the mantra, “custom fit for your custom feet.” In addition to weekly group runs and training initiatives, the shop manages several community running events including timing and results data services.
