25 Jan Superfeet Invests in LFT and SafeSize
Superfeet, the insoles specialist, has made an investment in Last Foot Technology (LFT), a Dutch technology company. LFT and its subsidiary SafeSize, use proprietary digital 3D scanning to steer shoe size recommendations.
Utilizing the advanced imaging and cutting edge technology, the coordinated effort of Superfeet and LFT “will bring shoe- and insole-fitting and recommendation into the digital age,” Superfeet said in its statement.
LFT is a technology company that has developed a digital imaging and 3D mapping system that aims to match people with shoes that fit. “We’re revolutionizing shoe fitting.” said Eric Hayes, vice president of marketing and product for Superfeet. “This technology takes the guesswork out of fitting shoes both online and in the store.”
This investment signals Superfeet’s continued commitment to providing its consumers with the best performing fit as well as its commitment to providing the best tools for retailers. Superfeet has been making shoes fit better for nearly 40 years and this investment ensures they remain on the cutting edge.
Superfeet’s digital fitting solution will make its debut in spring of 2016 in select retailers.
