07 Dec The Milton Shoe Company Hires John Storey to Lead Its Wholesale Business
Only six months after its launch into the Canadian marketplace, The Milton Shoe Company is excited to announce that industry veteran John Storey is joining the growing brand as VP of sales and market development. With more than thirty years of experience in the apparel and footwear industry, including more than twelve years at GEOX Canada as sales and product manager, Storey will bring his passion and knowledge to help establish The Milton Shoe Company as a key player in the North American men’s luxury footwear market.
“Brigitte and I are thrilled to have a senior level executive like John join our tribe,” explains President and Founder Milton Fonseca. “We believe that our shared vision and product quality paired with his experience will make us achieve our business objectives quicker.”
“I am thrilled by this new challenge,” explains Storey. “The product quality of the Miltons is what sold me. As a sales expert, I was eager to find a brand that would offer quality craftsmanship, heritage, alongside a story that consumers can get inspired by. The opportunity to play a strategic role in bringing the passion and experience of this five generation family to the North American consumer is exciting. The unique value proposition of The Milton Shoe Company is what will make the brand the leading Canadian contender in the men’s luxury footwear market.”
