17 Feb Ugg and Zappos Support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The Ugg brand and Zappos teamed up to host an event on the campus of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to donate Ugg slippers and celebrate a recent generous donation from Zappos. Both companies who have a strong connection to children’s causes set out to bring a touch of comfort to the patients of St. Jude.
This event commemorated the $100,000 raised for St. Jude through the Zappos Gives to St. Jude Kids Program, which ran from Dec. 23-31, 2015. Zappos donated 10 percent of the retail price of each pair of Ugg slippers sold through the online retailer’s site for a $100,000 donation to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. Thanks to the partnerships like this, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
