16 May Under Armour Sells Out Limited Edition Curry MVP Shoes
Under Armour launched and quickly sold out a limited edition Stephen Curry collection that celebrated his winning of his second NBA MVP in a row.
The collection came out May 10 and the Baltimore Sun noted that by early afternoon, the Curry MVP Back 2 Back Pack, including shoes Curry wore in each MVP season, sold out at $400 each in pre-orders online.
On Tuesday, Curry officially earned his second consecutive MVP award following a historic campaign that saw his Golden State Warriors win an NBA record 73 games. In addition, he became the first unanimous winner in the league’s 61-year history, earning all 131 first-place votes.
Under Armour is also planning to make the MVP shoe pack available again this summer.
