Under Armour said UA Record, its mobile app for tracking fitness and weight changes, will be retired on March 31, 2020 and will no longer operate. Users who have been tracking workouts on UA Record are being encouraged to transition to MapMyFitness app.
In a note on the MapMyFitnesss site, Under Armour wrote, “As of December 31, 2019, UA Record was removed from all app stores and is no longer providing bug fixes or customer support for any version of the UA Record app that remains on your device.”
Those installing MapMyFitness app are being encouraged to try a new feature: Workout Routines. The company wrote, “With it, you can log your strength and gym workouts in great detail—with reps, sets, load on over 800 strength exercise types. You can share your routines with friends and discover them in your social feeds. Plus, we have pre-built routines from the Under Armour Training Team to get you started, no gym required. “
