07 Apr Vibram Announces Warrior Dash Details
Vibram FiveFingers announced the details of its continued long-term partnership with Warrior Dash, a leading obstacle race series, for 2015. Warrior Dash, dubbed “The Battleground” by race organizers, challenges more than half a million participants annually to 5K races through extreme terrain and intense obstacles.
During the 2015 Warrior Dash series, Vibram will be on-site at Warrior Dash events across the country with their Vibram Shoe Wash and Exchange, a mobile washing machine station that will provide Warriors a chance to clean the mud off of their shoes after completing the grueling race, spanning over three miles and a dozen obstacles. Further, participants will have the opportunity to put a pair of Vibram 100 percent washable Vibram FiveFingers Spyridon MR shoes to the test on “The Battleground” through an on-site trial program. As part of the program, participants can wear a demo pair of Spyridon MR for their wave of the event (subject to availability).
In addition to the mobile laundromat, Vibram will give curious spectators the chance to make the leap from the sidelines into the trenches. Those who purchase a pair of the Vibram FiveFingers Spyridon MR (which stands for “Mud Run”) through VibramFiveFingers.com in 2015 will have the opportunity to partake in a free Warrior Dash race of their choice. Warrior Dash also partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to raise funds and awareness at each event; efforts which Vibram will support with on-site sales and product trials.
