Zappos.com announced the promotion of Scott Schaefer to CEO effective immediately. Schaefer, a long-tenured leader in the company, has been acting CEO since December 2021.
Before being CEO, Schaefer was VP of Finance, which was preceded by positions in financial, operational and strategic scopes at the company throughout his nearly 14-years at Zappos.
Before joining Zappos in 2008, Schaefer held finance-related roles at Davenport Wealth Management and Ernst & Young.
